We really enjoyed the fine views, the excellent playground for the kids, and the magical fairy trail. Swimming in the pool was really fun too!

The rooms were huge and new-fashioned with large bathrooms. The property's location was stunning and marvellous, to the main areas which are fabulous. What's more, it was just off the Dunloe & Gardens and the Dunloe Gap.

Lovely location, great views and very helpful staff. Tasteful decor, tasty breakfast. Huge indoor pool. Magnificent grounds. Good food at restaurant.
Gym not as well equipped as expected and steam room did not always work. Tea and coffee in rooms would have been a nice added touch. Fishing equipment inadequate - although this is mentioned as an activity, it is offered in a rather half -hearted manner.

Hotel set in a location with stunning views. Wide range of delicious food served in the restaurant until late at night. Hotel leisure facilities excellent especially swimming pool. Children made to feel very welcome with a Kids Club and other complimentary leisure activities available.
Would grade this hotel as a very good 4 star but not 5 star. No tea and coffee making facilities in room - needed to ask for kettle and then charged for tea and coffee. Sofa bed in room very uncomfortable. In family room bathroom door would not lock. Needed to ask for the bottle of complimentary water available in room fridge. Skirting board around bathroom door kept falling off. Food and drinks although very good were over-priced. Needed to ask for extra towels for leisure facilities - none available in pool area. Kids fishing rods were broken.

It is a grand hotel in a majestic setting, relaxed and friendly
The food was average quality and very expensive for the meal received. My memory of the hotel previously was the food was outstanding. Breakfast was fine but rather standard for the level of hotel. Dinner was disappointing and poor value for money.

Horses on site are fantastic and staff in the kids club are very friendly.
. No entertainment of any kind on the evenings during the week. Kids club was good but limited and was only on from 10/12 and 6/9. I have 3 young kids and found the times not suitable, as there was no late option. We travelled with another party and we both had major issues with are bills upon check out. Found some staff very unfriendly and lacking everyday manners.

The Dunloe Hotel offered fine views and a warm atmosphere. The spacious Garden Twin room had a large balcony overlooking beautiful landscapes. The indoor pool was a hit with my kids, keeping them entertained for hours. Breakfast featured a wide range of options and everything tasted fresh. The family-oriented activities kept the little ones engaged, especially the fairy trail which they loved exploring. The restaurant had limited options for dinner, and I wish they had a broader menu, especially for kids. The wait for dinner service felt longer than expected. Staff were friendly. The hotel grounds were lovely, but the signage could be clearer to navigate around.

I liked the view. The horse riding attracted me to the Dunloe. The staff were lovely.
The horse riding track was way too short.
